About

Gabriela Fuentes Galsim

A California labor and employment attorney who advises and defends employers across industries, from restaurants and hospitality groups to technology companies, logistics providers and trucking companies.

Employment law

Her practice spans the full spectrum of employment litigation, from pre-litigation through resolution on the eve of trial.

She guides employers through California's demanding labor and employment laws: compliant workplace policies, internal investigations, and employee trainings in English and Spanish. She previously practiced at Fisher & Phillips LLP, an international labor and employment firm, where she honed her litigation skills and advised clients on day-to-day compliance, and has since worked with law firms on both sides of employment disputes.

Transportation and freight claims

Gabriela is in-house counsel to a trucking and logistics company, where she works with the agreements, brokers and disputes that come with moving freight. Her employment work for logistics providers and trucking companies adds a working knowledge of how carriers operate.

The same litigation discipline carries over to transportation matters and freight claims: reading the documents closely, building the record and negotiating from a well-supported position.
